Start a New Garden or Orchard

If you are wanting to start your own community garden or orchard we want to support you! First, we recommend joining and helping to build or strengthen one of the 250 projects that already exist in St. Louis. (See the section below for more information.) If this is not feasible for what you plan to do, then read on.

We are not currently accepting applications to join our network as we focus on strengthening our existing projects. However, for the first time, we are releasing a comprehensive packet on how to start your own community or school garden to everyone! Below you will find this information packet complete with steps, suggestions, resources, and examples. We also have a list of helpful resources.
