Volunteer Opportunity: Demonstration Garden Volunteer
Volunteer Location: Varying Locations
Historically, Demo Garden Volunteers help in the Demo Garden every Saturday where Seed St. Louis staff grow trial fruits and vegetables. Seed St. Louis is in the process of building a new Demo Garden and event space, and until that is complete, Demo Garden Volunteers help in other ways twice a month. One Saturday a month will be at Seed St. Louis’ Carriage House working in a few beds and the other Saturday a month will be at a different garden or orchard in our network helping with whatever tasks they need. Email [email protected] for dates, times, and locations of Demo Garden Volunteer events for the season.
Complete the Individual Volunteer Interest Form for more information and to be added to the contact list!

The Seed St. Louis school program supports more than 90 school gardens. The program’s overall goal is to allow youth to learn through hands-on activities, experience healthy food and contribute to a garden that improves their community. Volunteer opportunities include working with students and teacher in the garden and helping maintain a school garden during the summer months. Volunteer Groups
We welcome all kinds of volunteer groups including corporations, churches, school and more. Get your group outside for the day and make a difference in the community!
We offer flexible options for volunteer groups and will work with you to create an experience that makes sense for your group. Groups will volunteer with us for team building, connecting to their community, media opportunities and seeing how they can impact their local communities.
We are currently in our off-season and not accepting group volunteers at this time. Our volunteer season will start up again in March. Check back here in mid-January for more information. If you have any questions, you can contact our Volunteer and Network Relations Coordinator at [email protected]. See you in the spring!
